Fitzroy Harewood is the current President of Point Lisas Nitrogen Limited who has over thirty-seven years of technical, managerial and leadership experience in the local oil, gas, power and petrochemical industries. Mr. Harewood is a graduate of the University of the West Indies St. Augustine, with a Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Andrews University of Berrien Springs Michigan, USA.
His professional experience includes the Telephone Company of Trinidad and Tobago (later TSTT); the Trinidad and Tobago Oil Company Limited (TRINTOC), a predecessor company of Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (PETROTRIN) and Yara Trinidad Limited. Fitzroy is also a former General Manager of The Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (PowerGen) and President of PETROTRIN.
He currently serves the local energy industry as Chairman of the Safe To Work (STOW) Implementation Board of the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago and Chairman of the Point Lisas Energy Association of CEO’s (PLEA).
